When we launched in 2018, we decided there and then not to follow the latest trends or seasons like fast fashion brands. More than just sustainable clothing, we wanted to create a slow living movement and a way of life that would change fashion and people’s lives for the better.
The fashion industry is one of the most polluting industries on the planet. Of the 100 billion garments produced every year, 92 million tonnes end up in landfill. A lot of it is synthetic and plastic.
As a responsible business, we’re learning as we go how we can improve our sustainability efforts and show the world that producing clothing without harming the environment is possible.
With our new Sky Collection, we have launched a new approach to sustainable fashion.
Every order is created from scratch, which is why it takes up to 6 weeks to deliver your garment to your door. Because it has been crafted especially for you, you get a unique piece of clothing and nothing ends up in landfill.
A fair price
When fashion brands have leftover stock at the end of the season, they sell it for a reduced price. This is unfair for those who paid full price for it and also devalues the efforts that went into producing the collections, contributing to a fast-fashion mentality.
We take pride in the quality of our fabrics and the unique craftsmanship that goes into each bespoke piece. That’s why you will never find our collections on sale.
Made in London and Japan
Our fabric comes from Japan and each garment is handcrafted in East London. We only buy as much fabric as we need and create each piece on demand. This allows us to guarantee the sustainability of our collections and minimise waste throughout the whole production chain.
We want to build and demonstrate that a profitable business is possible without unnecessarily harming the planet or people.
